Meet Ziggy!
(#2445)
How
would you like to adopt a Brussels Griffon who is already experienced
in being a loving house pet. One who is socialized, goes potty
on command and is a perfectly well behaved companion?
Ziggy and his sidekick Je T'aime have been dearly loved pets to
their owners since they were young puppies. Suddenly, due to unexpected
events, their owners were forced to give them up. They had no
choice and it was a heart breaking decision. They made the right
one to turn them over to National Brussels Griffon Rescue, Inc.
instead of the shelter. Because they will soon be eleven years
old it is doubtful the shelter would have put them up for adoption
with so many youngsters needing homes.
Ziggy is neutered and up to date on shots. He is heartworm negative
and on preventative. He has started his weight reduction program
after arriving in Houston, Texas May 21st. He does love his vittles
and is a bit overweight. Ziggy weighs 16 pounds and intends to
lose at least two more pounds. He is neutered and house trained
and an absolute sweetheart. He and Je' Taime would love to stay
together but they also would adjust to being apart.
Ziggy is located in the Houston, Texas area.
If you are
interested in adoption please fill out our adoption
application. If you would like more information, please contact
Margie.
Keep in mind
that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where
they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area
is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get
the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to
travel in the cabin with the passenger.
