Meet Zac!

Meet Zac, a tiny, 8-lb, five-year-old with a huge personality and serious Griffy face. Zac is a breeder release who is enjoying freedom for the first time in his life, along with the love and inside comforts of his foster home. Zac especially loves sleeping in the big bed with his humans and wishes he had spent his early years in this luxury instead of in a cage outside.

Zac gets along great with his foster brothers and sisters and learned to use the doggie door just by following their lead. Because he missed out on the basics early on, he will need work and patience with leash- and potty-training, but Zac is very smart and eager to please. He is up to date on his shots, heartworm negative, neutered, and micro-chipped. He also just had his teeth cleaned, so he is good to go!

Zac needs a forever family that wants to make up for the love and affection he missed -- sleeping with you in the big bed would be the icing on his cake. Do you have a place in your heart and a little extra room in your bed for Zac? If you do, you will reap the rewards of the love of this precious boy.

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
