Meet Wookiee!
Wookiee
is a wonderful young male that is in need of a new home. He was
a stray wandering the big bad streets of downtown Columbus Ohio.
He was skinny and in need of some good food and love. The shelter
contacted an NBGR representative right away and we were there
to get him. Boy, was he happy! After a very long bath and eliminating
a few knots, Wookiee is a new man with his dashing new red collar
and leash.
Wook is a 7 month old, 11 pound belge, rough coated griff with
beautiful markings. He is currently being fostered with another
griff, 2 springer spaniels, and a cat or 2. Wookiee and the other
griff play like they were separated at birth, and Wookiee accepts
the fact that one of his new foster brothers is a grump and respects
his space. The cats on the other hand, are great fun for Wook
to chase, he would never hurt them however!
Wookiee is also being fostered with 2 human children, one is almost 7, and the other is almost 2. Wookiee loves them both to death and enjoys sleeping with his human foster sister.
Wookiee is up to date on shots, heartworm negative, and neutered. He is working on house training and leash training and is crate trained, and a total lover! He would love to have a home to call his own, could that be you??
Wookiee is
being fostered in Ohio.
If you are interested in adoption please fill out our adoption application and contact Vicki.
Keep in mind
that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where
they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area
is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get
the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to
travel in the cabin with the passenger.
