Meet Winston! (#2493)
Winston is a one year old packed full of energy who was an owner surrender because his family didn’t have the time to spend with him that he deserved.
Weighing only 8.5 lbs Winston needs to gain a few pounds to be at his proper weight which should be around 12 lbs. His diet has changed since he has been in his foster home and he is eating like a horse so it won’t take long for this little guy to fill out. Winston is one happy boy who loves to run and play and gets along great with other dogs. Don’t let his tiny size fool you - he usually comes out the winner in a game of tug-of-war with his larger foster brothers.
Winston sleeps quietly in his crate and will go in on command. He needs help with potty training and has never been on a leash or on a walk but that’s a new adventure he’s about to experience as soon as the weather gets warmer. One thing Winston doesn’t need help with is melting into your arms when you hold him.
Winston is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, micro-chipped, heartworm negative and on preventative. Now all he needs is a loving family to help put some meat on his bones and smother him with love.
Winston is located in the Houston area.

If you are interested in adoption please fill out our adoption application. If you would like more information, please contact Connie.
Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
