Meet Wally!
(#2641)
Wally was picked up and taken to a shelter when he was found wandering
the streets. He was pulled by an NBGR volunteer and was whisked
away to start the process of getting him ready for a forever home.
From the moment Wally walked out of the shelter, he was a perfect
gentlemen. He sat when asked and hopped into the crate without
hesitation for the ride to the beginning of his new life.
Wally is about two years old and is 26 lb of pure joy (we are
working on dropping a couple of lbs). He is one happy boy, who
loves other dogs large and small and is fine with the cats in
his foster home. Someone, at sometime, cared for Wally and spent
time training him. He sits, lays down, rolls over, and shakes
hands. Wally doesn’t meet a stranger.
He is crate-trained, leash-trained, and has had no accidents in
his foster home. He travels well in the car and sleeps in his
crate without a peep.
And Wally is a typical Griff – he wants to curl up or snuggle
right next to you. He is a great companion whether you want to
be active or just want company while you watch television.
Wally is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, micro-chipped,
heartworm negative and on preventative. Now all he needs is a
loving family that will pick up where the last one left off –
but this time never let this special boy get away.
Wally is located in Texas.
If you are
interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact
Connie at conniel@andell.com.
Keep in mind
that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where
they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area
is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get
the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to
travel in the cabin with the passenger.
