Tiffy is a
very sweet, devoted little companion. She has a laid back, kind disposition. She
gets along great with other pets.
walks, car rides and playing with her stuffed toys. She absolutely loves going
to the pet store and picking out treats.
first came to us she seemed a bit intimidated by men, this has changed over the
last few months. She happily greets everyone with her tail wagging.
Tiffy has a
condition called dry eye. She needs to have medication put in her eyes twice a
day - in the morning and again in the evening. She is very good about this. She
sits perfectly still giving you little kisses of gratitude while you are treating
her. Tiffy recently had a vet exam and was spayed. She is young and healthy despite
the dry eye condition. She would do best in a home with children over 10. She
doesn't see very well and appreciates people announcing themselves before picking
her up or petting her. It frightens her if she doesn't know who or "what" is approaching.
Tiffy when she was first
rescued from the shelter
Tiffy is housebroken
but not in the conventional way. She doesn't ask to go out but won’t soil in the
house if she is let out in a timely manner. Tiffy is crate trained although she
has free run of our house. All Tiffy wants is a lap, a blanket and lots of affection!
Tiffy is currently
in a foster home in New Hampshire. If you are interested in Tiffy please
complete our Adoption Application and contact
Keep in mind that we prefer
to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone
from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to
fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to
travel in the cabin with the passenger.
