is a darling 10.5 lb red rough Griffon. He was just a year old
in November 2006. Teddy has never met a stranger. He loves everyone,
is a very happy and playful little guy and his tail never stops
wagging. He needs a home where he can be involved in activities
of his family. Teddy plays well with other small dogs.
he has had little training, Teddy learns very fast. He would thrive
with someone who had the time and inclination to teach. In just
a few days in his foster home he learned to sit and wait when
a door is opened instead of running out, and to negotiate stairs.
His one area of difficulty is with house training. He will need
to be adopted by a patient, dog-saavy person who can be with him
full-time for at least the first month or so in order to really
pour effort into this area. When he finds the right person who
can do this, the rewards will be great. Teddy truly is a wonderful,
very loveable little dog. He is smart, very cute, exceptionally
sweet and affectionate, and a typical Griff who just wants to
be with his person. Teddy is healthy, up-to-date on vaccines and
has been neutered.
Teddy is located
in Peoria, Illinois.

If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application.
Keep in mind
that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where
they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area
is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get
the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to
travel in the cabin with the passenger.
