Meet
Sprout!
(#2553)
Sprout is 18 months old, full of energy, and always ready to play.
Looking at her, it’s hard to imagine this little girl survived
the past winter outdoors, but she did. A Good Samaritan who was
worried about her safety brought Sprout to NBGR so we could find
the loving home this girl deserves.
Sprout plays well with other dogs, but if they don’t care to play,
she will take her toys and play by herself. She is house-trained
and wants to be near you at all times. Her foster mom says she
is a joy and a clown.
Ms. Sprout is learning to walk on a leash but needs continued
training – our bet is that she will love to go on walks. She’s
also crate-trained but not too happy to be confined. The first
night she was in her foster home, she climbed over the x-pen and
slept quietly in front of the closed bedroom door, so we know
she would much rather cuddle and sleep with her family in the
big bed.
Sprout weighs 12 lb, is spayed, micro-chipped, up to date on vaccinations,
heartworm negative and on preventive. Though she was once neglected,
this little girl is full of love and wants nothing more than a
devoted home of her own. Do you have the home Sprout is looking
for and maybe just a little space for her to curl up on the sofa
next to you?
Sprout is being fostered in DFW area.

If you are
interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact
Connie at conniel@andell.com.
Keep in mind
that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where
they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area
is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get
the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to
travel in the cabin with the passenger.
