Meet Sprout!
Sprout
is a very sweet two year old. She was surrendered to rescue because
her owner could no longer care for her. She has allergies and
needs to be on a high-quality grain-free food which you may research
on http://www.dogfoodanalysis.com/dog_food_reviews/
Sprout is truly an athlete trapped in an obese body. Her foster
mom enrolled her in boot camp and is strictly measuring each meal
so the athlete in her may come out. Sprout came in weighing a
whopping 18.5 lbs and her foster mom believes she should end up
weighing around 10 lbs once the excess weight is off.
Sprout is a happy-go-lucky, very eager to share her kisses, always
up for a walk, kinda girl. She has remarkable enthusiasm even
when she knows she is going on a long hike. She is very social
with dogs of all sizes, loves going for car rides, and is good
with kids. She is not a shy girl, loves to cuddle, knows basic
commands and is perfectly leash and crate trained. Her griffy-stache
was chopped off by an inexperienced groomer, but it will grow
back.
Sprout is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed,
and is being fostered in Los Angeles, California.
If you are
interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact
Pam.
Keep in mind
that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where
they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area
is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get
the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to
travel in the cabin with the passenger.
