Shelly is a healthy 3 1/2 year old rough coated Brussels Griffon. She has been a dearly loved pet all her life but due to a career change her owner is gone from her home too many hours a day and felt that was not fair to Shelly.
Shelly is a sweetheart and is an easy going affectionate and playful girl who loves to be with people. Although she gets along with other dogs she can be possessive of her sleeping area and her food. She doesn't snap but expresses herself vocally to warn others to keep their distance.
Shelly is crate trained and lets you know when she has to go outside. She is up to date on all her shots, is spayed and microchipped. Shelly has slipping patellas that may need to be surgically repaired.
Shelly is located in Brighton, CO
If you would like more information,
contact Margie. If you are interested
in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application.
Keep in mind that we prefer
to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone
from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to
fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to
travel in the cabin with the passenger.
