Meet Shamus and Chanco!
Shamus and Chanco are two young sweet boys looking for a new home. They have come in to rescue because their family’s life has changed and their mom felt it would be better for them to have a home with someone who can spend more time with them than she can.
Shamus and Chanco are both very well cared for social little guys. They walk nicely on a leash and love to go for walks. They need more work on their housebreaking and need to be kept on a schedule. They are both crate trained.
Shamus is the fuzzier looking fellow in the pictures and is about 8 months old and weighs 9 lbs. Chanco is 10 months old and weighs about 8 lbs. Shamus and Chanco are both neutered and up to date on all vaccines and take heartworm preventative.
They moved right in to their foster home this week and never stopped wagging their tails. Their foster mom has grandkids who visited and did well with them.
Shamus and Chanco are being fostered in Ohio.
If you are interested
in adopting them, please complete our adoption
application and contact Vicki.
Keep in mind
that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where
they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area
is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get
the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to
travel in the cabin with the passenger.
