Meet Schatz!
Schatz
is a 7-month old male Brussels Griffon, born 6-9-08, who weighs
a whopping 6.15 pounds. He may get a little bigger, but not much.
He is a beautiful dark belge color with a thick, shiny coat. Shatz
has a docile disposition and gets along well with other dogs.
He has settled into the routine of his foster home quickly.
Shatz is making good progress on his leash training and potty
training. He is a smart puppy and catches onto things you tell
or show him quickly. While he is still a little timid and shy,
he is accepting of his care, being good in his bath and to get
meds. He is a little apprehensive at being picked up, but once
you do pick him up, he settles in and loves to snuggle and sleep
on your lap or beside you.
He will be a very loving and sweet little boy for the right forever
home. He has not known much kindness in his short life, but he
is quick to learn that he loves soft dog beds, toys with fringe
to chew, and doggie brothers and sisters to play with. He is equally
comfortable with male and female humans. Shatz has the cutest
little head tilt when you talk to him and loves to sit and listen
to you.
Shatz is neutered, current on his vaccinations, heart worm negative
and is on preventative. He is located near Little Rock, Arkansas.
If you are
interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact
Carol.
Keep in mind
that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where
they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area
is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get
the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to
travel in the cabin with the passenger.
