Meet Scarlett!

Scarlett is a super sweet griffon who we got from a shelter – she had been picked up as a stray.

We think Scarlett is about 7 years old. We don’t know about her earlier life – but she is as good as they come. She loves people and gets along fine with the other dogs in her foster home. She is just a very happy girl with a sunny disposition every day.

Scarlett weighs about 13 lbs. and needs an owner who will help her watch her weight as she can gain and came to us quite overweight. . She does pretty well on her housebreaking skills although we expect she may regress a little when she moves to a new home.

Scarlett recently had patella surgery and now she is almost fully recovered and about ready for a new home. She is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines and microchipped.

Scarlett is being fostered in Ohio.

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
