Meet Sassy!

Sassy Patti – or “Miss Sassafrass” as her foster mom calls her – is a breeder surrender girl from Arkansas. She came in to NBGR on December 7th. Sassy has been completely vetted and spayed and now she is ready to look for a permanent home.

Sassy weighs about 6 lbs. and is a delicate little girl. She is about 4.5 years old. She is shy, reserved, cautious, but very curious about her surroundings. She is crate-trained, loves her stuffed animals to be around her along with her favorite foster sister Chihuahua (Tina). Sassy gets along absolutely fine with dogs her size, and is working on her potty-training as she settles in. She is doing pretty well with washable potty pads – mostly hits them.

Sassy is up to date on vaccines and she takes heartworm preventative. She is being fostered in Columbus, Ohio.

If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact Vicki at vboneill@optonline.net.

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
