Meet Sara!
Sara
is a 5 year old red rough puppy mill survivor weighing 8 pounds.
After living in a cage having puppies, she has earned her freedom
and a new lease on life, and she is a very happy little Griff.
It's hard for her foster mother to describe the joy in this little
Griff's eyes when she discovers new pleasures in her life every
day. She has learned that being in the sunshine watching the colorful
leaves fall on the ground is delightful, and birds feeding at
the bird feeders is also intriguing. Sara has discovered just
today that there is another Griff in the oven door who looks just
like her, and she likes to throw that little head back and bark
at that Griff in the door. Sara is learning how to play with her
foster sisters, and she is very affectionate toward her foster
father and loves to snuggle with him while they watch t.v.
Sara is working hard on her housetraining and has learned how
to use a doggy door. Her leash training is also coming along well.
She sleeps well in her crate or with her foster family in their
bed at night.
Sara has the most beautiful big brown eyes and the perfect Griffy
face. All she needs is a forever home to love her as much as she
will love them back.
Sara is heartworm negative and on preventative. She is up to date
on all shots. microchipped, and spayed.
Sara is located near Jackson, Mississippi.
If you are
interested in adoption please fill out our adoption
application. If you would like more information, please contact
Carol.
Keep in mind
that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where
they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area
is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get
the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to
travel in the cabin with the passenger.
