Her name is Sandy and she is 15 or so pounds of love and fun. She is young. The vet thinks she is less than a year old. She likes to chew things so she needs lots of toys. She's a cutie patootie! She is very
loving and very sweet.
Debbie Perry found Sandy on a rescue list and sent me an e-mail. She was in a five day kill shelter and was looking pretty shaky when I first saw her there alone in her concrete cage with her "expiration date" posted on the outside. Her time was about up and I think she knew it. But since she has been here she has come out and is definately more confident now that she knows there is plenty of food, soft beds, toys, love and no "expiration date".
Sandy is located in Lakeland, Florida.

If you are interested in adopting this dog please fill out our Adoption Application.
Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
