Meet Sadie!
(#2743)
Sadie is a precious little girl who was pulled from a shelter by a wonderful NBGR volunteer after being surrendered by her owner. Approximately five years old and weighing 14 pounds, this little girl has a super sweet personality, tons of energy and is full of spunk.
Sadie gets along well with other dogs but may be better as an only pet because she wants to be center of attention – at all times. She will go from human to human passing out tons of puppy kisses to all who visit. She likes to announce everyone’s arrival and departure by barking, not so much at the people but more as a welcome greeting.
Sadie LOVES toys and will empty the toy box in a heartbeat. She is doing well with potty training, with no accidents in her foster home. One thing that has been observed is Sadie does not care to have her feet wet so she has been carried out a time or two to do her business.
She is great on a leash which she recognizes means let’s go for a walk. She is not crazy about crates but does fine in a larger confined area where she has freedom. It appears that Sadie was used to sleeping in the big bed with her previous owner so if you have room in your bed she will gladly join you.
Sadie is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, micro-chipped, heartworm negative and on preventative. Now all she needs is a loving family.
Sadie is located in the Boulder, CO area.
If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact Connie at conniel@andell.com.
Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
