Meet Sadie!
Sadie
is a sweet, small 7-8 pound red rough 18 month old Brussels Griffon.
She is up to date on her vaccinations, spayed, microchipped and
on heartworm preventative. She is crate trained and sleeps in
her crate at night.
Due to unfortunate circumstances in her own life, including returning
to full time work, Sadie's owner has made the most loving and
unselfish decision to place her with NBGR so that we can find
a new forever home for her. Her desire is that she go to a home
where she will receive all the love, time and ongoing attention
she deserves.
Although Sadie is very social, she will bond to just one or two
people. She is very playful, loves to play fetch, loves her toys.
Sadie is leash trained and loves going for walks and the park.
Sadie has had some basic obedience training and is a well-mannered
little girl. However, due to the circumstances surrounding her
life, she had to stay at a doggie bed and breakfast for quite
some time. Consequently she has had a relapse in her housetraining.
A calm, stable and loving environment should help her to overcome
her slight lapse in no time.
Sadie is looking for someone who has lots of time for her and
the patience to help her with her housetraining.
Sadie is located in Austin, TX.
If you are
interested in adoption please fill out our adoption
application. If you would like more information, please contact
Sharon.
Keep in mind
that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where
they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area
is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get
the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to
travel in the cabin with the passenger.

Update!
Sadie has been Adopted!
From Sadie's new Mom:
Sadie and I are very bonded and I fall more in love with her everyday. She has also made good friends with her "grandparents" Judy and Jim next door. She is getting much better getting use to different people and not barking so long. We walk everyday and she is really good about doing her business. Thanks for your help. I will send you a picture of us my friend took.
