Meet Rusty!

Born in July 2005, Rusty is still a puppy. His long lanky legs and long body add to his puppyish charm. He weighs approximately 14 pounds and is a playful and lovable little guy. He is also very well behaved. He has been microchipped and will be completely vetted, including shots, and will be neutered before adoption.

Rusty is located in southern CA.

If you would like more information, contact Carole Ross. If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application.

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.

April 13, 2006 Update:

Hi Carole!

WE LOVE HIM! He is such a character!! Foxy is such a mom to him. Brian (fiance) thinks he is the greatest, so all the pictures we have taken are of him holding Rusty (Chilli - we changed his name).

We need to work on a little potty training, but we are all getting used to each other's schedules. I think by next week things should be on a consistant schedule for everyone. He went to the beach yesterday and it was so cute to see him running and swimming with the bigger dogs, as he has NO fear! He even knows his new name and comes hopping gleefully when you call him. He goes right into his cage (we are cage training) at night when he is sleepy and wakes us up when he is ready to get up and start his day.

He has all new toys and a few new sweatshirts - i think Foxy enjoys the toys and Chilli enjoys teasing Foxy most. The are really sweet together!

Thank you so much for choosing us for his new family. He is a joy and we will continue to give updates and will send pictures when we get some new ones.

Thank you again!!!!!!! :-)
