Meet Rusty Red!

Rusty Red answers to either or both names. His owner died and the family could not keep him. He arrived at my home April 14th and within one week made himself totally at home. He watched my Griffons use the dog door and began going outside on his own to do his business. Since that day he has been totally trustworthy in my home.

Red weighs 10 pounds but needs to gain another pound or so. He is 2 1/2 years old and has a wonderful personality - he is active, friendly and wants to please.

Rusty Red is neutered, up to date on shots, has tested heartworm negative and is on heartworm preventative. He is located in Houston, TX.

If you would like more information, contact Margie. If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application.

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
