Rudy is a 10
year old spayed female. She is very shy and lacks confidence. Knowing her past
life who can blame her. She lived her whole life with back yard breeders and puppy
millers, living outside in a pen where she was used for breeding. Due to kennel
reduction she spent the last 3 months in a shelter.
a guardian angel to come into her life and give her a loving and secure home for
her remaining years. When she learns that life can be good she will overcome some
of her shyness and give love in return.
Rudy Before Grooming
Rudy is visually
impaired and is a special needs girl. Please open your heart and home to her.
Rudy is located in Marion, OH.
If you would like more information,
contact Margie Simon. If you are
interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application.
Keep in mind that we prefer
to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone
from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to
fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to
travel in the cabin with the passenger.

Rudy has been Adopted!
From Rudy's new mom (she
also adotped Rusty)
We made it through our
first night last night and everything was fine. I had put a playpen in my bedroom
and put the doges in there and they went right to sleep with the rest of us, I
have just gotten up and taken them out and no messes in the playpen. I'm so excited
that things are going this well. Rudy is still very shy with me and Rusty is a
little also but not as bad, but Randy, I don't know what that man has but they
both go to him and love him. My two small pups are doing well also and they are
all interacting fine. I'll keep you updated in a couple of days and try to get
some pics to you.
November 22, 2005:
Another lovely night w/
all my pets, they are wonderful and fitting in quite nicely.... when we first
brought the two of them home, the would not even take a treat out of our hands,
they would run anytime we put a hand out. Now they will take treats our of our
hands, lay on the couch or recliner with us, and are pretty much coming when called.
The housebreaking factor is doing fine except for Rudy's little accident last
night, other then that, they are doing great. Thanks again for the opportunity
to make a difference in these dogs lives. We are one big happy family.
