Meet Rowdy!
Rowdy
is a 4-year old male, belge, rough coat Griff who weighs in at
a whopping 6 pounds! But his foster mom thinks Rowdy is such a
sweet boy that he could not possibly be named right.
Rowdy is a puppy mill dog who responded very quickly to love and
attention. His favorite place to be is by your side, in your lap,
or velcroed to your ankles. He is learning to accept good things
from the hands of people instead of expecting only bad. He travels
well in a crate, does well on a leash with a harness, and is working
very hard on his house training.
Rowdy has learned that belly rubs are his favorite thing, dog
beds are super, and toys are for playing. He loves playing with
his foster brothers and sisters. He is becoming the social butterfly
and has attended dog shows, shopped at pet stores, and visited
the homes of friends. He would do well in a home with no small
children, as he is still somewhat fearful of loud voices or sudden
movements. He has responded better to women than men. He is super
smart and picks up on things quite easily.
Rowdy has a cute head tilt when you are talking to him, which
he loves, and his little tongue tips out of his mouth quite becomingly.
He has not yet developed his jumping skills; he will jump off
a couch but not on. He leans up on your legs and scratches to
get your attention when he wants to get up with you.
Rowdy will make someone a wonderful, loving companion. He has
a lot of love to give; he’s been saving it up for four years!
Rowdy is microchipped, up to date on his vaccinations, neutered,
heartworm negative, and on heartworm preventative. He is located
near Little Rock, Arkansas.
If you are
interested in adoption please fill out our adoption
application. If you would like more information, please contact
Carol.
Keep in mind
that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where
they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area
is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get
the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to
travel in the cabin with the passenger.
