Larger than life! That is what we call Miss Rosie. There is so much Joy in this oversized package. If you are looking for a sweetie to give back double the love you dish out, then this is the girl for you.
Rosie loves her foster mom. She is learning to tolerate men and older children but she would be most happy with a women. She loves to play with other dogs and her toys. The leash and harness send her into excited spins. She loves her walks and car rides.
Rosie is a young dog--between 2 and 3. She is 20 pounds. Rosie was a stray and came to us with a severe case of dry eye. She has improved and now gets eye drops twice a day. She is so good, she knows when it is time for drops and just sits with her head up. Rosie will always need eye drops, if not daily, several times a week. With a forever home comes the promise to always care for Rosie's dry eye. The extra care Rosie needs will be returned many times over.
Rosie is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines and heart worm negative. She takes heart worm preventative.

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
