Meet Roger!

Roger is a friendly, sweet, very affectionate young boy who was found as a stray and just rescued from a high kill county shelter in southeastern Illinois. We think Roger is about one year old. He has a harsh red coat, weighs 11 lbs, and is 11 inches tall. He is heartworm negative and up-to-date on vaccinations. Roger is healthy, happy, clean, and will be ready for a forever home any time after 6-11 when he will be neutered.

The photos of Roger, taken at the shelter, don't do him justice, so we shall update it just as soon as possible.

Roger is located in a foster home in central Illinois.

If you would like more information, contact Bethann Lane. If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application.

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
