Ripley is a 4 1/2 year old black and tan rough coated Brussels Griffon. He weighs 10 1/2 pounds, is up to date on his shots, is on HW preventative and is neutered.
Ripley seems to get along well with other dogs, knows the words "sit," "kennel" and "outside". He is crate trained and will walk on a leash. He can't really be left alone outside as he likes to climb trees and will dig out from under the fence.
Ripley has a darling personality and will cock his head to the side when you talk to him, like he truly is listening and knows what you mean. He loves to cuddle on the sofa and sleeps in the bed every night.
Ripley is looking for a new home because he couldn't accept the new baby. He just doesn't like young children.
Ripley would like a stay at home family, where he gets lots of attention. He is housebroken, however, if he is left for long, he does have accidents in his crate. Like many Griffons he can be very timid with new people, especially men, but is really a friendly pet.
Ripley is located in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
If you would like more
information, contact Linda. If you are interested
in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application.
Keep in mind that we prefer
to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone
from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to
fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to
travel in the cabin with the passenger.
