Ricky is a sweet little belge boy who is an owner surrender to rescue. He is just 10 lbs. but could stand to gain a little weight. He is just 13 months old.
Ricky started out totally afraid of me but now wags his tail and is so excited to see me – all in 3 days! He is working on trying to trust my husband now. He loves toys and will fetch a toy back to you until you are tired of throwing it – squeezy squeaky toys he can shake like a mouse are the best!
Ricky is pretty good on a leash and does pretty well with his housebreaking habits. He is crate trained. I think he will do well with another small dog but he can be snappy with a bigger dog if he feels he is being intimidated.
Ricky is neutered and up to date on vaccines. He is heartworm negative and takes heartworm preventative. He is located in Connecticut.
If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact Vicki at email@example.com.
Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
