Meet Ramey!
Meet
Ramey, a very endearing, 11 pound little Griffon, who is six years
young and looking for a forever home. Ramey used to be called
Rambo, but there was never a name more un-fitting a little dog.
This boy is extremely peaceful, sweet and loving. He gets along
well with everyone: people, dogs, cats. Ramey plays with toys,
retrieves a bit, is easy to work with (he loves his baths) and
is a perfect bed partner - curls up to sleep and doesn't move
all night! He has the kind of personality that makes lemonade
out of lemons. His tail is always wagging and he's agreeable to
everything.
Ramey would do best in a loving household where he could exercise
moderately but would not need to be highly physically active.
He's not a jogger! He is on a very low dose of thyroid meds but
is healthy and up-to-date on all vaccines. He needs some work
on his house training, but is coming along very well in that area
too since being treated for a urinary tract infection.
Ramey is in foster care in the Madison, WI area.
If you are
interested in adoption please fill out our adoption
application. If you would like more information, please contact
Beth.
Keep in mind
that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where
they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area
is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get
the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to
travel in the cabin with the passenger.
