Meet Puppy #2!
(#2420)

Hello, World, I've always been known as Pup #2, but my new foster mom and dad have started calling me Ozzie. I was very well cared for in my previous foster home and shown lots of attention, which is why I'm so affectionate, but I missed out on some life's important lessons we little ones learn early on. I need a family with lots of patience to help me catch up.

I am a ball of energy, and I would love to find a home where I can run and romp. I'm learning to walk on a leash, potty outside, and I sleep quietly in my crate. In one day I learned to sit - without treats - so I'm a really smart guy.

Do you have a special place for me in your home? I promise we will have a good time, and at the end of the day - or anytime you want - I will curl up with you and be perfectly content just being with my best friend that I've always wanted.

Pup #2 is 9 months old and weighs a lean 14-1/2 lbs. He will not grow any more, but he will fill out. He is neutered, current on all vaccinations, micro-chipped, and he is heartworm negative and on a preventative.

Puppy #2 is located in Houston, Texas

If you are interested in adoption please fill out our adoption application. If you would like more information, please contact Connie.

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
