Meet Puk!
(#2682)
Meet Puk – a darling, three-year-old cutie pie who was surrendered
because his previous family could not give him the time and attention
they knew he deserved. Puk was loved and well taken care of by
his previous family who adopted him from another shelter.
Puk has wasted no time winning the praise (and the hearts) of
his foster parents; he is very well behaved and loves to snuggle.
He has not had any accidents in the house, and he sleeps quietly
in his crate. Puk loves to go for walks, play with his toys and
gets along well with other dogs, including his foster brothers
and sisters with whom he now shares quarters.
We are not sure how Puk was treated before his previous family
adopted him, he can be skittish and shy with strangers but will
warm up to you, especially if you sit on the floor. Puk has shown
a small amount of aggression toward the other fur family members
if they get too close to his food/treats or toys by giving a low
growl but will stop immediately with a verbal correction. He is
a happy boy who dances when it’s meal time and will melt your
heart with those big brown eyes.
Puk is tiny at 11 pounds, is neutered, current on all vaccinations,
micro-chipped, heartworm negative and on a preventative. All he
needs now is a loving family who will continue to help Puk become
secure in his new surroundings.
Due to his size Puk cannot go to a family with children.
Puk is located in Houston, TX.
If you are
interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact
Connie at conniel@andell.com.
Keep in mind
that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where
they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area
is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get
the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to
travel in the cabin with the passenger.
