Meet Prissy!

Meet Prissy, a six-year-old, ten pound, red rough female. Prissy is an extremely laid-back lady with an adorable Griffy face. She is quiet and shy, but she has quickly learned to appreciate – and even seek out – human attention.

When Prissy came into our program she was heartworm positive but has successfully finished her treatment. She is now looking for a quiet forever family to call her own who will love and nurture her.

Prissy is up to date on vaccinations, spayed, micro-chipped, and on heartworm preventative. She is doing well on potty training when kept on a schedule and has just started leash training. Prissy loves the big bed and sleeps quietly through the night. We ask that you keep Prissy on a high quality dog food to sustain her good health and control her weight.

Do you have the love to nourish this little girl’s needs? We think she will Griffy crawl her way into your heart the same way she has with her foster mom and everyone who meets her.

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
