Meet Precious (1)!
(#2588)

Precious, is a beautiful, six year old, twenty pound, belge female who was also a breeder surrendered. Precious spent her life in a cage outside enduring all kinds of inclement weather a horrible existence for any dog. She too is now enjoying the comforts of the indoors in her foster home and does well with other dogs.

Precious, is still on the shy side but has made huge progress since she has moved to a foster home with fewer dogs so she gets more one on one attention. She has never had an accident in either foster home and has learned to use the doggie door. She follows her foster mom around the house with a non-stop wagging tail, asking from time to time to be petted. Because she spent so many years in a crate, its the one place she now hates to be to the point she soils her crate within minutes of being placed in there. She will do better with a home where she will not be crated and preferable where there are no small children.

She is up to date on vaccinations, spayed, micro-chipped, on heartworm prevent and recently had her teeth cleaned. We also ask that you keep Precious on a high quality dog food to continue her good health.

Precious had a rough first few years and is looking forward to a forever family who will give her the love and affection she has missed out on. Do you have a place in your heart and patience to nourish this little girls needs?

Precious is located in Dallas, TX. Because she can get car sick from time to time we would also like to place Precious in a home located close to her foster home.

If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact Connie at conniel@andell.com.

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
