Meet Posey!

Posey is an 18 month old black rough Brussels Griffon. She is spayed, heartworm negative and takes heartworm preventative. Posey up to date on vaccines. Posey weighs about 15 lbs.

Posey was surrendered to rescue by her owner who had just too many dogs.

Posey came in to rescue with some eye irritation. We took her to an eye specialist who said she had ectopic cilia – eyelash hairs coming in to her eyes under her eyelids. The specialist performed a procedure to remove the eyelashes under her eyelids and she is just about recovered.

Posey loves to run and play with the other dogs in her foster home. She is friendly and settles herself in to your lap after she gets used to you. Posey will need a good amount of exercise to be happy as she has lots of energy.

Posey is being fostered in Connecticut.

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
