Meet Piper!

Piper came to NBGR from a breeder release in Arkansas. She is a tiny slip of a girl – who weighed in at about 6 lbs. when we got her. She is working on gaining a little weight as she was very thin and we think she will end out at about 7 lbs. – so tiny!

Piper is shy and sweet. She is a good cuddler and happy to snuggle once she is comfortable with you. We think she is about 2 - 3 years old.

Piper is working on her housebreaking habits – but will need someone with patience to help her along. She has been sleeping in her foster mom’s bed and loves to sleep right up close to you. She will go happily in a crate – but like many mill dogs – she is known to make a mistake in there at times.

Piper is up to date on vaccines and will be spayed and microchipped before she goes to her new home.

Piper is being fostered near Nashville, TN.

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
