  Meet Pappy!

Pappy is a sweet black and tan (ok and some silver) griffy boy who weighs about 13 lbs. We think he is 5 or 6 years old. Pappy came to us from a shelter in Southern California where he had been turned in as a stray.

Pappy is learning more self confidence all the time. He has been practicing walking on a leash and is learning to be housebroken – he loves the doggie door. We don’t know what Pappy’s former life was – but he is enjoying all the attention and love he is getting in his foster home. He hasn’t quite learned to cuddle yet – but he wants to have your attention.

Pappy gets along with the other dogs in his foster home but he does want to dominate to some extent. He takes time to warm up to strangers.

Pappy has been brought up to date on vaccines, neutered and had his teeth cleaned.

Pappy is being fostered in Orange, California.

If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact Vicki at vboneill@optonline.net.

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
