Meet Pablo!

Pablo is about 2 years old, is neutered and up to date on all shots. However, he is not on heartworm preventative. Pablo weighs 13 pounds - is very lean and muscular. He is high energy for sure. Loves to run at top speed, loves to be chased and is seemingly fearless of dogs bigger than himself. He loves to chase squirrels and rabbits and really enjoys being outdoors for walks and to run in the grass.

Pablo has been very good with our son, who is just 11 months old now. Has not been jealous. Likes to be near the baby and play with him and with his toys. He is very close with us – he sleeps with us and enjoys spending all his time with anything we are doing, driving in the car, taking a shower etc. He follows us everywhere.

He is house trained. Although as you know this breed sometimes forgets they are trained so there are “little” mistakes. He will tell you when he wants to go out – he does a little foot dance at the door. Pablo is ok with getting a bath and being groomed. He is not destructive of items in the house. Never has been a chewer. He is very sensitive and gets upset with you if he sees you are upset – he is very warm and loving.

The above was written by Pablo's owner.

Pablo is in Connecticut.

If you would like more information, contact Marjorie Simon. If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application.

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
