Meet Otis!
(#2440)
Otis is a fun-loving, super sweet - two-year-old firecracker - who loves to play hard and crash on the sofa with you at the end of the day. He was surrendered by his previous owners because they felt they couldn't give him the time he deserved.
Otis listens and understands basic commands, is very smart and eager to please. He has had no accidents in his foster home since the second day and he quietly sleeps in his crate at night. He does have a tendency to eat bite-size non-food items left on the floor.
Otis needs a firm sense of his pack leader, so he won't forget who is running the show. He gets along well with other dogs that are equally as feisty, as he tends to play a little rough. Otis' former best friend was a cat, so he should do fine with cats in the home. He was also raised with children, but due to his feistiness we would prefer children 10 or older.
Otis is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, micro-chipped and on heartworm preventative.
Otis' foster mom describes him as a love bug and prankster! If you are looking for a forever friend that has it all - tidy up - 'cause Otis is your man.

Otis is located in Houston, TX
If you are
interested in adoption please fill out our adoption
application. If you would like more information, please contact
Connie.
Keep in mind
that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where
they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area
is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get
the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to
travel in the cabin with the passenger.
