Meet Oscar!

Here's a handsome, great little guy who is looking for a new beginning. His owner is moving and circumstances necessitate finding a new forever home. Oscar is a delightful 3 year old, red rough boy, who weighs 15 lbs. He is already neutered, housetrained, and has always been very healthy with good regular vet care.

Oscar is a little fearful of small, active children but is very affectionate and loves attention so would probably do well with older children who know how to behave with a dog. He likes other dogs but prefers people, so he would do well with other small dogs but this is not a necessity. He is a very friendly little dog.

A typical Griffon, Oscar wants to be with his *person* all the time and will do best in a home where someone is around much of the time. He is a playful, active young dog with a spunky, *big* personality and he will be a wonderful pet for some lucky person. Oscar is located in the Chicago area.

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
