Meet
Mumu!
(#2649)
Mumu is a sweet little girl who came to NBGR from the home of
a dog hoarder. When she arrived she was such a matted mess that
she had trouble opening and closing her eyes! In spite of the
way she was kept previously – she is absolutely a sweetie who
just wants your love and affection. When I picked her up and brought
her in to my house she just wanted to climb up in my lap and give
me a little kiss and take a nap. When I took her to her foster
home she got along fine with the other griffons – and even had
a game with the puppy in residence.
Mumu needs to have some work on housebreaking – but she is doing
OK as long as she is kept on a regular schedule. We think that
Mumu is about 6 years old. She weighs about 11 lbs. (but might
come down to 10 lbs.) and she is spayed. Mumu had her teeth cleaned
when we got her so she is all set and ready for a new life.
Mumu is up to date on vaccines and she is heartworm negative.
Mumu takes heartworm preventative. She is being fostered in Connecticut.
If you are
interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact
Vicki at vboneill@optonline.net.
Keep in mind
that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where
they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area
is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get
the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to
travel in the cabin with the passenger.
