Meet Monkey!
Monkey
(AKA Mookie) is an absolute DOLL. She is slowly adjusting to being
in a home after living her life in a puppy mill.
She is a darling little girl, mostly housebroken to puppy-pads
but will go outside as well. She prefers to be with her human(s)
and does not want to stay outside without someone with her. And
who can resist those huge eyes of hers? It is very easy to give
in to her every request.
Monkey gets along well with other dogs but like most dogs she
is protective of her food bowl. She loves her bed, especially
if it is next to her human. She is a Velcro girl, for sure. She
would do especially well with an older couple who could spoil
her to make up for her past.
Monkey is eleven years old and weighs ten pounds. She has been
spayed, has a microchip, is heartworm negative and is up to date
on shots. She acts much younger than her years and has a pleasing
quiet personality.
Monkey is located in Waldo, Ohio.
If you are
interested in adoption please fill out our adoption
application. If you would like more information, please contact
Pam.
Keep in mind
that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where
they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area
is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get
the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to
travel in the cabin with the passenger.
