Meet Moe and Precious!

These two purebred Brussels Griffons were owner released. Both were born in 2001. They will be spayed/neutered and vaccinated before they are placed.

They are both sweet and loving Griffons and each one needs their own forever home. Precious is a bit shy of strangers at first but with gentle loving is wonderful.

Moe is the larger of the two and both are adorable.

This is a courtesy listing to help find them homes. Their adoption fees will be geared to cover their vet expenses.

If you are interested in adopting either Moe or Precious please fill out our Adoption Application and we will forward it to the Meriden Humane Society in Meriden, CT.

Update!

Precious has been Adopted!

Precious was adopted and is now busy acting like a little princess in her new home.

December 2004
Here is a new photo of Precious, now known as Buffy,
with her friend Beowulf who is also a rescue.

We removed Moe from the shelter on 10/16/04 and he is now at a foster home in New Hampshire. Here are pictures of him relaxing after his first bath in his foster home.

Moe had arrived at the shelter with a serious eye injury and had his eye removed at the end of September. He doesn’t seem at all bothered by the loss of his eye – the vet thinks because he probably lost sight in it quite some time ago.

Moe will stay in foster care until his eye is totally healed (which won’t be long – he is doing very well) at which point we will place him in a permanent home. He is also very skinny and needs to gain a pound or two – he is only 12 pounds now.

Moe seems to get along well with other dogs but needs to be in a home without cats as he just chases them non stop. He is very athletic and energetic. He needs to learn some manners (pulls very hard on his leash and knocks over anyone in his way as he dashes around.) He is a kissy, cuddly guy and will make someone very happy when he is ready to go to a forever home.

If you are interested in Moe, please fill out our Adoption Application and contact Vicki O’Neill at vboneill@optonline.net
