Meet MJ!

MJ is a neutered male Brussels Griffon mix. He was rescued from a kill facility in Salinas, California by All Pets Veterinary Hospital and is being fostered by one of our Rescue workers awaiting a new home.

He was born 9/1/03. He is very friendly, crate and leash trained. MJ gets along well with other pets. He is neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative and up to date on all of his shots. His teeth are also excellent. MJ jumps like his namesake and needs a securely fenced yard higher than four feet.

MJ is in California.

If you would like more information, contact Carole Ross. If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application.

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.

MJ has been Adopted!

From MJ's new Mom:

MJ is doing great. The first night was a bit rough as he did not sleep and was licky, wiggly, excited, and kept us up all night. Boy I thought I got into something I couldn't handle.

Yesterday we spent the day outside together and I decided to keep trying to housetrain and let him in again last night. He did great! Slept all night on the foot of the bed. He is a busy guy and probably was exhausted. My daughter brought her cat over and the two hit it off. The bunnies and chinchilla entertain him also. He absolutely loves my 15 year old and plays fetch with her.

We changed his name to Wicket as he looks like an Ewok from Star Wars....He likes it.

Take care. I'm going to go out and play with Wicket,

MJ - now named Wicket, and his new Mom, Julie
