Meet Mercy!
(#2715)
Mercy is a sweet and happy griffon who came in to rescue from a hoarding situation in Ohio. She is very sociable – surprisingly considering where she came from.
Mercy weighs about 10 lbs. We believe that she is 5 or 6 years old – although she acts younger. She came to rescue missing one eye – but it is totally healed and just looks like she is blinking at you. A veterinary eye doctor has looked at her remaining eye and says her sight is good and her eye is in great condition. She doesn’t seem bothered at all by only having one eye – and is active and playful and enjoys the company of other dogs but also of people. She is a real love bug and would like to cuddle with you on the couch as often as possible!
Mercy is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped and heartworm negative. She is taking heartworm preventative. She is being fostered near Columbus, OH.
If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact Vicki at vboneill@optonline.net.
Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
