Meet Melvin!
(#2719)
Melvin came to NBGR from a hoarding situation in Ohio. We think Melvin is 2-3 years old. Melvin is about 12 or 13 lbs. and he is a belge rough griff.
Melvin suffers some from separation anxiety so he will need a patient person who is home a fair amount of the time. At night he goes in his crate and sleeps all night without a peep – but he doesn’t like being contained alone during the day. He is sweet and playful and gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home so he would like a playmate.
Melvin is neutered, microchipped and heartworm negative and up-to-date on vaccines. He takes heartworm preventative.
Melvin is being fostered in Marion, OH.
If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact Vicki at vboneill@optonline.net.
Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
