Meet Max!

We have a Brussels Griffon in immediate need of a new home in the Spokane WA area. Max is a 6-7 years old neutered male. He's current on vaccinations, very good natured and sweet little guy, a little overweight at 18 lbs currently, red rough coat, likes other dogs.

Here's why this is URGENT...Max has just been diagnosed with diabetes and requires insulin shots twice a day. He also needs a small amount of thyroid medicine. His owner can not take care of the diabetes so he must find a new home quickly. He is currently at the vet's office where he has been for a week now.

Max is located in Spokane, WA.

If you would like more information, contact Linda McKellar. If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application.

Max has been Adopted!

Here is a note from his new mom:

Hi Linda

We got home Saturday evening with Max just fine. At first, he was a little overwhelmed with all my other critters, but is adjusting and fitting in just fine. On Monday he had he's first visit with my Vet and his glucose was within the normal range so the insulin in finally adjusted correctly. Today he met my best friend "Susan," and he was groomed into the beautiful dog he really is. I've attached several pics of Max for you. He is a joy, very quiet but does like to play with the other dogs, he really enjoys the back yard not sure he had a lot of area to roam around in. As it is fenced he has a good time when we are outside.

My very special thanks to you and the Rescue Assoc. for allowing this wonderful dog to be brought into our lives. Ed and I are really enjoying him. Thank You for thinking of us.

Keep us on your list if you have any others we can help with. Within the 6 western states is the easiest for us.

Hope you enjoy the pics!
