Meet Max!

Here's Max, a darling small package of love and energy. He weighs in at 6.5 lbs and is not quite 3 years old. He is neutered, house and crate trained, and up-to-date on all vaccinations.

Max is very playful, friendly, outgoing and happy. He is a real *wriggle-butt*. When told what a wonderful boy he is, he spins around in delighted little circles. His only requirement is that he be able to be the velcro dog he needs to be. He needs a stay-at-home mom who wants a lap warmer and constant companion. He is not a dog that can be left alone for long periods or who can be left out of family activities. Also, it is probable that Max would not do well with small children.

Max is happily in foster care in the Chicago area where he is welcome to stay until the perfect forever home comes along.

If you are interested in Max you must complete our Adoption Application and fill in references. Contact Beth Lane for more information.

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
