Mango is an incredibly sweet gal that came from a hoarding situation in Ohio. She is about 9# and we believe her to be about 6 years of age--don't let that deter you though as this girl still runs and plays with the younger ones in her foster home! She enjoys the company of her foster brother and sister as well as all of the human attention she has been receiving...how sad it is that she hadn't received this since day 1.
Despite her past, Mango has adapted well to a 'normal' home environment. She does well with kids, walks on a leash, is crate-trained, and is about 99% housebroken with regular potty breaks – although she may regress a little when she goes to her new home. We are working on 'sit' and 'down' but she understands 'stay'.
One of the cutest things is her light snore when she falls asleep. She also likes to remind you that she is there by coming up and gently placing her paw on you all while looking up to you with her beautiful brown Brussels griffon eyes. At this point, you have no other option than to smother her with love and affection!
Mango is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines and heartworm negative. She takes heartworm preventative. She is being fostered in Orlando, FL.
If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact Vicki at email@example.com.
Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
