Meet Maddie May!
Introducing
Maddie May. You might notice that Maddie is lacking in the hair
department but don’t worry it will grow back! When she was surrendered
to an area animal shelter she had lost almost all her hair but
she never lost her sweetness. It was miserable for Maddie having
all those nasty, biting fleas crawling all over her tiny body.
The nice people at the shelter called NBGR to see if we could
take Maddie and find the forever loving home she deserves. So
here she is waiting for you.
Don’t let
this tiny girl fool you, when she walks in a room she takes command
and is full of confidence. If you will have a little patience,
her hair will grow back and you will see what a beautiful little
girl she really is. Remember beauty is only skin deep - what’s
on the inside will make up for what’s lacking on the outside right
now.
Maddie gets
along well with other dogs, she has not had any accidents in her
foster home, sleeps well in her crate but even better snuggled
next to you in the big bed, loves to go on walks and walks very
well on a leash. Maddie is a spunky little girl who has no problem
making herself at home with her foster brothers and sister.
Maddie May
weighs 8 pounds, is spayed, current on all vaccinations, micro-chipped,
and is heart worm negative and on a preventative. She is located
in Houston, TX.
If you are interested in adoption, please complete our adoption
application and contact Connie.
Keep in mind
that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where
they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area
is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get
the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to
travel in the cabin with the passenger.
