Meet Lulubelle!

Lulubelle is a sweet little old lady looking for a new home. Sadly she came in to rescue with a broken jaw and a bad infection in her mouth, patches of hair missing (bad nutrition maybe?) and she is taking some time to recover in her foster home. She is very timid and was showing fear aggression towards the other dogs in her foster home on arrival but she has adapted and now is beginning to understand that not everyone wants to hurt her. She has even started to play with the other dog.

Lulubelle has become a real Velcro dog. She follows her foster mom from room to room and is cute and playful with her. She also talks to you when she cuddles with you.

Lulu weighs 12 lbs. and is about 8 years old we think. She is crate trained, up to date on vaccines and she takes heartworm preventative. She will be spayed before she goes to her new home. Lulu does pretty well on housetraining but does mark now and then so needs to be watched.

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
