Meet Lucy!
Lucy
is a seven year old female who was adopted from NBGR last year
- but due to changes in their living arrangements they have had
to return Lucy to NBGR.
Lucy is a
shy little girl originally released from a large commercial breeder
where she had little human contact. She is longing for a loving
home that will be patient and willing to put forth the time and
effort it will take to gain her love and trust.
A loner by
nature, she will follow her foster brother and sisters around
but isn't quite sure how to become a part of the team. She loves
to be outside, has not had any accidents in her foster home and
sleeps well in her crate. Lucy is also living with two cats that
she likes to bark at but will stop when asked.
Lucy weighs 13 pounds, is spayed, current on all vaccinations,
micro-chipped, and is heart worm negative and on a preventative.
Lucy is located in Houston, TX.
If you are interested in adopting Lucy, please complete our adoption
application and contact Connie.
Keep in mind
that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where
they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area
is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get
the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to
travel in the cabin with the passenger.
