Meet Linus!
Linus
is a handsome four year old boy who is looking for a new home.
His owner surrendered him because he was behaving badly and she
felt unable to handle him – he was extremely possessive of her
and was aggressive towards a person who approached her.
Linus has
been in a foster home with an experienced dog person for several
weeks now and is getting along well with the other dogs and is
understanding that possessive behavior is not acceptable – he
is learning to mind his manners!
Linus does
quite well on housebreaking and is leash trained. He loves to
go for walks. He is a sweet boy and loves to spend as much time
as possible with his owner. He is quite a cuddler.
Linus weighs
about 13 lbs and is neutered. He is being fostered in Eastern
Massachusetts. We will want to make a home visit for him so
he will be placed not too far from where he is now.
If you are
interested in adoption please fill out our adoption
application. If you would like more information, please contact
Vicki.
Keep in mind
that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where
they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area
is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get
the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to
travel in the cabin with the passenger.
